How a rollout runs
- Discovery: map the current sales process, sources and hand-off points; agree the stages and the fields each stage requires.
- Configuration: sales teams as pipelines, native stages scoped by team, stage gates and the X/Y/Z escalation windows in Settings.
- Data: import contacts and companies from Airtable CSV exports, then normalise identities so the same person is not imported twice.
- Go-live: switch the funnel-to-deal sync on, verify the escalation cron, and hand the boards to the sales team.
No workaround migrations
Field renames follow the project standard (qod_ prefix), imports are idempotent and duplicate-safe, and nothing is patched straight in the database when the configuration can carry it.
