IT Roles: Leave Integration

Purpose

When a leave or sick leave is approved, delegations of all the employee's active roles are automatically created for a substitute person (it.role.assignment.state == active becomes a corresponding it.role.delegation for the leave period). When the leave is cancelled or reset to draft the delegations are cancelled automatically (action_cancel on each)

Key functionality

• substitute field (it_delegate_id) on the leave form
• auto-creation of delegations for all active roles on approval
• auto-cancellation of delegations when the leave is cancelled or
• delegation reason inferred from work_entry_type_id of the leave
• duplicate protection: date overlap is checked before creation
• chatter messages for created and cancelled delegations
